Kyrie vs Boston
In his second game back in Boston, Kyrie Irving scored 39 points as the Nets take Game 4 of the first round series against the Celtics. While Brooklyn’s ‘Big Three’ should be the main story here, they aren’t.

The Stage is Set
The CFB National Championship game is set for Monday night. Along with everything else that happened in 2020, getting to this point was not without difficulty for either team. Ohio State’s season was in jeopardy from the very beginning, due to the Big 12’s decision to not have a football season, which was obviously overturned. Alabama’s head coach, Nick Saban, tested positive for Covid-19 on two separate occasions, causing him to miss time with his team.
Hurts, Don’t It?
The Philadelphia Eagles looked a bit different in last Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. They looked like a good football team! That's because Philly’s rookie QB was finally allowed to take the reigns and start his first career NFL game. He goes by the name of Jalen Hurts. You’ve probably heard of him.
The Tide’s Revenge
Top ranked Alabama made a statement in a highly personal win over LSU on Saturday. No matter what happened in 2019, this is a new year and Alabama is still Alabama and LSU may have learned that during the first half of the game.
Lakers Clench Finals in Game 6 Blowout
I had every intention of writing a great article about the Lakers winning the Finals in the Black Mamba jerseys in Game 5. However, Jimmy Butler had other things in mind. Instead, the Lakers were able to close out the series and the 2020 season on Sunday night with a 106-93 win over the Miami Heat.
Lakers Steamroll Heat in Game 1
Goran Dragic. Jimmy Butler. Bam Adebayo. Yes, these are arguably the top three players for the Miami Heat, but that’s not the only thing they have in common. All three of them suffered injuries during Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the LA Lakers. Butler stayed in the game, but Adebayo and Dragic did not return. Although this is the worst news for the Heat right now, it isn’t the only terrible thing that happened last night.

NBA Return: A Whole New Game
On March 11, the NBA season was suspended after Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz contracted the Coronavirus. The suspension shocked everyone around the league and soon after, all sports were shut down. Since then, Adam Silver has been uncertainly trying to find a safe way for basketball to resume. It’s been 140 days since the game that we know and love has been played in its normal format. The NBA is set to return tomorrow, July 30 and it will absolutely be a whole new game.
Tua Time in Miami
Former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins have agreed to a $30.28M contract with a signing bonus of $19.6M. This contract is interesting because it is fully guaranteed. The deal is for four years.
COVID-19 Flips Sports World
The past 24 hours have been insane. This is just a nightmare that everyone who loves or plays sports wishes that we could wake up from. Fear, shock, and disbelief have surfaced all around the world as the Coronavirus pandemic continues and these emotions have made their way into the sports world.
Best in the West
The Western Conference has changed so much in the past year alone. The Lakers have the best record in the conference. The Warriors have the worst record in the league. Like I said, a LOT has changed. That’s why it’s important to discuss the top 8 teams in the West before they get a chance to change again. Here they are:
