“Immunized” ≠ Vaccinated
Aaron Rodgers, you are in the hot seat. And rightfully so. Here’s the latest on the Packers QB’s Covid-19 uproar:
Aaron Rodgers is unvaccinated.
He previously told reporters that he had been “immunized” when specifically asked if he was vaccinated.
Rodgers has recently tested positive for Covid-19 and will be away from the Packers organization for at least ten days, if he is asymptomatic.
The NFL, NFLPA, and NFL fans are currently in a frenzy because the amount of white privilege in this situation is uncanny.
Teams around the league have been fined because they have mistreated multiple situations involving Covid-19. Players have been called out because they opted to not receive the vaccine. Although the league will not explicitly say it, we all know that players have been released because they were/are unvaccinated. So why is it that when Aaron Rodgers remains unvaccinated and unmasked, lies about his vaccination status, and puts his team at risk, everyone is taking their sweet time to address the situation.
There is a lot going on in the NFL right now, but there’s no way anyone should just let this slide. This situation needs to be addressed by the Packers organization as well as the NFLPA and Commissioner Goodell. There is no way to spin this one.
