Superman Returns

Calling all Panthers fans *myself included*! Our QB has come home. The former MVP returned to Charlotte today to talk with the Carolina Panthers about a possible reunion following the injury to QB Sam Darnold.

I’m sure it took a lot for the Panthers’ front office to put their pride aside to call Cam in the first place. I’m also sure it took a lot for Cam to answer that call after the Panthers released him back in March 2020.

Cam Newton returns to the Panthers after a short stint as a New England Patriot. After struggles on both ends, it’s safe to say that everyone is happy now… except maybe Sam Darnold. From the looks of it, Panther Nation is extremely happy about getting our beloved Super Cam back.

Newton agreed to a one year, $10 million dollar contract with $4.5 million guaranteed and a $1.5 million signing bonus included. Assuming that his physical comes back fine, it looks as if Cam Newton will be back in his starting role for the Panthers very soon.
